Not really. I found a bunch on markdown and snapped it up. I’ll use the Foodsaver to make portion packs that I can toss in the freezer so I can just grab some when the mood strikes.

It was weird, I keep reading about bacon shortages but my local grocery store just had buy one get one free on 1lb packs of thick cut hickory smoked, delicious salty crispy bacon nowexcusemeigottagomakesomethingtoeat!

I found the 2nd method in this page to be a really easy way to freeze bacon. Hoping I’ll never need to thaw it, just please let the bacon keep coming.
